Hatch by Pau Morgan and Isabel Otter
This adorable board book follows a selection of baby animals hatching from their eggs. Peep through holes add to the excitement and wonder of exploring this story, while bright colours make it engaging and fun. It's a perfect very early board book for the littlest of readers to enjoy. It's also printed on 100% recycled board, so it's good for the planet too! This would make a wonderful gift for eco-conscious parents, and a great addition to any little libraries.
My First Heroes: Space and Inventors
Two new titles in Campbell's My First Heroes series come out this month and both have been a huge hit in my house! These colourful board books are filled with fascinating facts about women and men who have made invaluable contributions to science. From Galileo to Katherine Johnson, George Stephenson to Patricia Bath, Campbell showcases a diverse selection of STEM role models who will delight and inspire the youngest of readers. As well as facts, these books also have interactive elements on every page. Campbell publish a lot of my favourite board books, and this series is no exception. I was gifted copies of these two titles for review, but I will definitely be buying the rest!
An Alphabet of Animals by Linda Tordoff and Harriet Evans
This adorable lift-the-flap board book is a lovely way to introduce little book worms to letters and animals. The pictures are incredibly sweet, with a soft colour scheme and some clever, letter-shaped animal poses.
I was provided with advanced copies of all the books featured in this post by the publishers, in exchange for an honest review.
